NorAm Wellsite Services is a geological services company founded in 1995. It specializes in mudlogging, consulting geology, and rental gas detection equipment. Our corporate statement of purpose is: "To provide the finest geological services anywhere." We endeavor to realize that goal with each well we provide our services on.
Our five original partners possess a combined experience of 115 years. Our geologists and loggers have been carefully selected and trained to provide the professional wellsite services expected by our clients. This experience, while centered in the Rocky Mountain Region, includes several major basins throughout the United States. Our extensive well files include nearly 4,000 logs and geological reports dating back to the early 1950's, providing one of the most comprehensive libraries in the region.
In 1997 Noram formed a partnership with Drilltell Systems, Inc a subsidiary of Continental Laboratories 1985 LTD., an industry leader in geological services in Canada since the 1960's. This partnership has enabled NorAm to not only expand its geological scope of operations, but to incorporate into its services advanced integrated gas detection technologies such as the Minipac 2100 total gas detector.

Derryl Chapman - General Manager
Derryl has over 25 years of field and management experience. His many years with Continental Labs laid the groundwork for the creation of NorAm. His industry knowledge combined with a genuine commitment to his employees and clients make's Derryl the cornerstone of NorAm Wellsite Services.
Tom Huggins - Technical Sales Representative
Tom's combination of sales and wellsite experience enables him to provide outstanding knowledge and service to his clientele.
Scott Olson - Business partner; Senior Logging Analyst
Scott's field knowledge is comprehensive of any type of drilling operation. His quality work and devotion to the industry led him to become involved in the ownership of NorAm.
Theresa Rau - Business Partner; Senior Logging Analyst
Terry's MSc combined with over 20 years of experience has put her in the forefront of wellsite logging. With extensive mountain and structurally complex well experience, Terry is often requested to the "tough ones". Terry is critical to the ownership of NorAm.
James Roberts - Senior Logging Analyst; Business Partner
Jim joined Continental in January 1982 and has experience throughout the N.W. USA. His commitment to the organization was transferred to NorAm when he too became a Business Partner in April 1995.
Harold "Shorty" Rowe - Business Partner; Geologist
"Shorty" is the most dynamic and experienced logger in the industry. With over 40 years of knowledge his talents are in demand throughout the N.W. USA. Mr. Rowe is always striving to achieve new and better ways to log. His knowledge has made him an integral asset as both a Geologist and Business Partner to NorAm.
